Emory V. Anderson, III
President and Chief Executive Officer

Emory has over 32 years of experience in the healthcare, consumer electronics and data communications industries. He joined Intuity Medical as the President and Chief Executive Officer in September, 2008. Prior to Intuity Medical, Emory served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Adeza Biomedical, a public company focusing on women's reproductive healthcare. At Adeza, Emory lead the company to a successful IPO in 2004 and eventual acquisition by Cytyc in 2007. Before Adeza, Emory served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Indesys, a data communications company, which he co-founded in 1984. Previously, he held the position of Director of Finance for Atari, in the Consumer Electronics Division.

Robb Hesley
Vice President of Corporate Development and Finance

Robb Hesley has over 21 years in the medical device and pharmaceutical industries. He joined Intuity Medical in 2011 as Vice President of Corporate Development and Finance and brings extensive experience in product development, commercialization and financing of medical device companies. Serving as VP of Business Development at Hologic Inc., Robb managed all aspects of the FDA approval process for a New Drug Application (NDA), resulting in the sale of the drug for $200MM. Prior to Hologic, Robb was VP of Business Development at Adeza where he was instrumental in the company’s successful IPO and ultimate acquisition by Cytyc Corporation. Robb also held roles as VP of Business Development and R&D at Metrika, Inc., and Director of Business Development at Metra Biosystems.

Nelson O. Lam
Vice President of Regulatory Affairs & Quality Assurance

Nelson has over 23 years of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs experience in the defense, medical and in-vitro diagnostic device industries. He last served as Vice President of Operations and R&D at CoolSystems, maker of innovative cooling/compression medical devices. Previous to CoolSystems, Nelson held various RA/QA executive and leadership positions with a number of public and private stage medical companies which included Abbott Diabetes Care (ADC), TheraSense, Ethicon J&J, W.L. Gore and Stryker Corporation. Most notably, at TheraSense, Nelson served a key role as the VP of RA/QA/CA in support of the company’s successful launch of it’s FreeStyle™ glucose monitoring product line.

Kelley Lipman
Vice President of Marketing

Kelley has extensive experience in healthcare marketing and sales, with a heavy concentration in medical devices and diabetes. She has a proven track record in developing strategic market entry plans for companies with new and emerging technologies. She was Global Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Metrika and helped to set the stage for the acquisition of Metrika by Bayer Diabetes Care. At TheraSense, she served as the National Sales Director and was instrumental in the commercial success of the FreeStyle™ product line, leading to a successful IPO and acquisition by Abbott.
